Rapha House was founded in 2003 and their mission is to love and heal children who have been rescued from human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Rapha House is a Christian organization whose guidance comes from Proverbs 31: 8-9: “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; Ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.” Rapha House rescues enslaved children, provides them with a safe, Christian environment, and provides them with counseling, medical care, and training to equip them emotionally and vocationally for reintegration into life outside of a safehouse. By God's grace, Christian Children's Home of Ohio has been the hands and feet of Jesus to children and families across Ohio for 45 years. From our humble beginnings in 1969, when we operated one foster home to our expansive organization today, hundreds of deserving kids and adults are served at any given time by our professional staff of 150 employees.
The organization was founded by concerned, caring individuals affiliated with the independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ movement who wanted to bring Christ to bear on at-risk children and dysfunctional families. CCHO receives oversight from a voluntary board of trustees.
Our mission remains central to all that we do: to bring healing to hurting children and families in Jesus' name. Will you join us in this noble effort? www.ccho.org https://www.facebook.com/pg/cchohio/
